MY PHILOSOPHY

COMPOSED NEVER POSED

On your wedding day you should feel most alive. Most free. Most truly yourself. As your love story turns the page, completing one chapter and starting the next, you should feel the liberty to enter fully into every moment, never worried about how you’ll look…especially not in your photos! As I capture candids from behind my lens, I ensure your wedding day is told fully and in magnificent detail. But what about the portraits? The images that you’ll send to Grandma, print onto canvases, and pass on to your children’s children? That’s where my unique philosophy shines.

I don’t come with a list of poses for you to copy and I don’t just let you do your thing and hope for the best. I’ve found an in-between—one that creates beauty without feeling cookie cutter. Instead of posed, let’s give composed a try.

Instead of trying to look like a wedding cake topper or the ideal Pinterest bride, let’s arrange the elements of your day. Let’s make adjustments that feel natural but that almost make you feel the most beautiful. And best of all let’s do it with grace and tranquility.
